A Nervous Start

Well, I keep saying I wish I had a working blog ... and the new setup of my website does indeed make it extremely easy.   So maybe I'm out of excuses.

We'll see how often I actually post anything here!Lee writing

I know the last thing this old world needs right now is one more blog.  But I do think I have things to share that might interest one or two other people -- if only pointers to other blogs.

Thanks so very much for sharing the bit about the South Pole adventure! I found myself becoming quite emotional myself just reading what you had written...and can only imagine the feelings of the men themselves.
