But the part of my site that you're in right now is mostly made up of my little essays on the original stories. I make no pretense that these are profound or even enlightening -- but I offer them in the hope they may somehow be of use to Sherlockian societies, perhaps as newletter-fillers or even discusson-starters. (Now, if you are in school and plan to copy any of these for an assigned paper -- shame on you. I hope you steal one of these and then get caught, you little creep.)

I know of no more comprehensive exploration of the day-to-day happenings in the Sherlockian world than Peter Blau's remarkable Scuttlebutt from the Spermaceti Press...
